CRM Dynamics Ltd Attends Convergence 2012 in Houston, Texas, New Partner Agreements Focusing on Enterprise CRM Solutions in the Works
The CRM Dynamics team made its way down to the Lone Star State for Microsoft’s Convergence event at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. Microsoft holds the annual learning and networking event that features general and concurrent sessions, interactive discussions and keynote speeches from inspirational speakers including world leader and former U.S. Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Colin Powell. Mr. Powell really knows how to get and keep the crowd’s attention and gave a wonderful opening speech.
The three-day event which lasted from March 18-21, drew 10,000+ attendees, sponsors and exhibitors from all over the world, reuniting to hear, share and discuss Microsoft Dynamics, the best in breed CRM software solution that has evolved into an industry leader in the business management solutions market over the past 13 years.
Some of the news that execs shared with event goers included their plans to make Xbox Kinect incorporate gestures, voice recognition and how they plan to leverage cloud computing solutions that are being used today for their online CRM and the deployment of Office 365. Microsoft plans to make available Cloud solutions for Dynamics NAV and GP in 2013.
Members of the CRM Dynamics took in general sessions such as “Analytics Made Simple with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011” and “Status Update: Project Enhancements for Microsoft Dynamics SL 2011”, that allowed us to keep up on all of the recent developments and provide our clients with the tools to optimize their customer relationship management systems.
CRM Dynamics has attended Convergence events in the past and we always find them educational as well as great for building relationships. They have provided us with opportunities to meet with other Microsoft partners and attendees at the Meeting Point or one of the many Regional Lounges. Speaking of attendees, they were treated to live product demos, technical support, Hands on Labs and User Groups. And when they weren’t busy in meetings, they could always hang out at the Gaming Area with Xbox 360, Ping-Pong and other games.
Before you knew it three days came and went and it was time to come back to Toronto. We would like to thank all of our partners and clients that we met at the show. It really was a pleasure meeting with all of you and we look forward to finding new ways to collaborate in the future. We’d also like to thank all of the team at Microsoft for hosting another successful event and the City of Houston for having us. We can’t wait for next year’s event in New Orleans!
