Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Timelines

We take the guesswork out of project timelines

One of the most frustrating aspects of CRM implementation projects is time delays -- what was supposed to take 6-months might end up taking much longer than expected.

There are several factors that can lead to a delay in a CRM implementation. At CRM Dynamics an HSO Company it is our pledge to you to take the guesswork out of CRM project timelines.

To do that, it’s first important to understand what causes a CRM project to take longer than expected. Here are four areas that can cause delays and how we make sure that you don’t fall into the traps.

1. Over-aggressive time-lines

Generally, when implementing a CRM system, there is a problem that needs to be fixed. That can lead to pressure on the decision-makers to fix things, fast. A vendor, meanwhile, might feel compelled to make promises to do the work quicker than reasonably to gain business.

CRM Dynamics an HSO Company has more than 20 years of experience in implementing CRM systems. During that time, we’ve developed a solid idea of exactly how long things take. We will candidly share that with you in the initial design phase. We are Canada’s largest Microsoft Dynamics CRM partner and that size allows us to be upfront and honest with you about exactly how long it will take to complete your project.

2. Having the right resources

Implementing a CRM can be a huge project. This isn’t a simple process and it will require a large amount of resources.

As stated, we are the largest Dynamics 365 development shop in Canada. That allows us to take an
assembly line approach.  A project won’t grind to a stop if a developer catches a cold. That predictability allows us to complete the projects on time.

3. Too many bells and whistles

Dynamics 365 is an incredibly powerful tool that can help businesses in a multitude of ways. Once you start to look at all the different possibilities it is easy to get caught up in wanting it all.

Having everything is nice, but it is not always needed. You can often accomplish your goals with less customization. That will save you both time and money.

4. Communication

Our 20-years of experience in designing projects has taught us a thing or two about the process. We have nailed down a detailed plan that touches base with all your key stake holders throughout the process.

When you work with CRMD you’re not just a client -- you’re a partner. And your success is our success. We will be with you every step of the way to ensure it.
