Read on to find out more about Mena!
Background
With a varied background, Mena brings a unique perspective to CRMD. She spent about a decade in the science field, acting as a Project Manager for the majority of that time.
What lead you to working at CRM Dynamics?
“I was fortunate enough to be involved in an exciting start-up over the last year. I had always wanted to try to be a part of something that was being built and I jumped at the chance to join CRM Dynamics.
You career started in science, what made you make the switch to SaaS?
“I wasn’t looking for SaaS in particular, just for a new challenge. Now, that I’m working in software I find it to be a rewarding and important field.”
Does your time in science impact how you work now?
“I think so, yeah. I fully believe in the scientific method for sure. I bring that to my decision making.”
So, you’re data driven?
“Absolutely, I love data. It helps you separate what you think is working from what actually is working. We should always test our theories to make sure our biases are not affecting our decision making.”
Why did you end up in science to start with?
“There wasn’t any specifically reason. I just excelled at it in high school and when it came time to go to university it felt like it was the right thing to do. I wish I had known that a career like Project Management was available to me back when I was in high school.”
Beyond work, what makes you tick?
A few years ago, I decided that I needed to see the world. So, each year – at least before COVID – I plan a big trip to see a new place.
I’m also a big dog lover. I’m obsessed with my dog, Lucy.
What makes you most excited about joining CRM Dynamics?
“This is a company with such a great reputation and willingness to help their clients succeed. It really is the best place for me at this point of my career.”
