Power Platform- Why its important

Organizations once believed their data was not being used to its full potential or extent.  Data was always a major focus, along with unimaginable questions about how to capture it.  The troubles we had in the past with the lack of insights are no longer troubles we have shared today. In fact, organizations have lots of data to churn from different systems however the next hurdle to cross is how can we make the data meaningful for our users or for our systems?

With that question in mind, we would like to introduce to you the Microsoft Power Platform.

In simple terms, the Microsoft Power Platform consists of four separate applications that complement one another. Those applications are Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.

As a leader in the business space – from Office 365 to Dynamics 365 and beyond. Microsoft’s intention behind the power platform was to give organizations the opportunity to drive digital transformation to even greater heights. The platform connects to over 100 different data sources and uses Microsoft Dataverse to house data. The Dataverse is the real magic as no matter which app you are using, all the data lives there in one Dataverse across your entire environment. This means that data available can be re-used and re-purposed by your other apps, without any wizardry or custom integration required.

With Microsoft Power Platform you are not just getting is a platform. Instead, you are building your business and creating a future where your organization’s data and business processes can drive your business decisions and learn intelligently from one another.  If you still wondering how to make Power Platform valuable as a platform rather than just a product watch our webinar recording on “An Introduction to Microsoft’s Power Platform”
